Been more and less active in the graffiti scène from 1997 to 2012, Did a graphic design study without graduating. (Everybody likes honest people)
Did work in a supermarket for too many years but later on he became a self employed entrepeneur in the art sector around 2011
Erwtje started drawing his cartoons again in a more sophisticated way in 2018, focussing on the subculture of graffiti with romantisised graffiti scènes. “We are all here because our ancestors where hunters and killers, the graffiti game is a sport that activates the tactical hunter inside you. Somehow graffiti is close to the core of human beings.
The combination between realism, animated figures and surroundings gives a unique flavour to the artwork with the right atmosphere.
